| Click here to visit our Team Appreciation Day. Beth Arnold Patient Coordinator  As a patient coordinator, I answer the telephones, greet patients and schedule appointments. I joined the Custom Smiles Team on April 29, 2008. Dr. Hudson is a great doctor who really cares about his patients!I’m a native of Oxnard, and in my free time, I like to quilt and cook, garden, and walk my dog. I also enjoy beading jewelry and beading quilts. By the way, I’m a huge Raiders fan! |
| Leslie Gonzales Dental Assistant  I have been with Custom Smiles Orthodontics since 2006, and I work on patients and assist Dr. Hudson and Dr. Pendleton. My favorite part of orthodontics is giving our patients a great smile! Dr. Hudson is the nicest doctor I’ve ever worked for and he and the team make work fun. I love my co-workers!In my free time, I like to spend time with my niece. I enjoy going to the beach and watching sports. I am a native of the Philippines. I’m the youngest of six children. I grew up in Hawaii and I love to eat! |
| Chad Kurti Laboratory Technician  I’ve been a part of the Custom Smiles team since 2004, and I make retainers and appliances. My favorite thing about orthodontics is happy, smiling people. I admire Dr. Hudson’s attention to detail and like his laid-back personality.I’m a native of North Carolina. In my free time I like to weight train, ride motorcycles, hike, watch movies, water and snow ski. You might not know that I was a personal fitness trainer for 5 years and I was on a gymnastics team for 6 years. |
| Jen Neuer Registered Dental Assistant  I work on patients, keep them happy and assist Drs. Hudson and Pendleton. And, I have fun and love my job! I started with Custom Smiles Orthodontics 11 years ago but was gone for 1½ years and returned 4 years ago. My favorite thing about orthodontics is my patients! I love working with Doc (Hudson), because he is so thorough and cares so much for our patients. I’m a native of California. In my free time, I like to hang out with my son, snowboard, ride motorcycles and have fun in the sun! |
| Kimmy Cantu Dental Assistant  I've been with Custom Smiles since 2009 and I work on patients and assist Dr. Hudson and Dr. Pendleton. I went to Oxnard College and attended the Dental Assisting Program where I got my x-ray license and dental assistant certification. I have been a dental assistant for the last two years. The greatest part of my job is making patients feel good about their smile. I can honestly say, as a team member, I have fun every day and I love my teammates and patients. During my free time I love to spend time with my puppies, watching Laker's games, shopping, and spending time with my family. I love to cook. I am Latina and part Italian, so I make the best of everything. I am a loveable person and I always have a smile on my face. |
| Guadalupe Andrade Registered Dental Assistant  I’ve been with Custom Smiles Orthodontics since 2002. My duties include assisting the doctors, helping in the lab to make retainers and appliances, and making my patients smile! My favorite thing about orthodontics is the progression of teeth and the final results. I also like working with Dr. Hudson because of his personality.I’m a native of Oxnard, and in my free time I like to listen to music, paint, skateboard, and go to concerts. You might not know that I’ve been sewing since I was 5 years old! |
| Jacqueline Magana Registered Dental Assistant/Financial Coordinator/ SureSmile Coordinator  My duties include accounts receivable, overseeing patient accounts, collections and state insurance billing. I am also a treatment coordinator and registered dental assistant. My favorite part of orthodontics is creating beautiful smiles. I’ve been part of the team since 2004. Dr. Hudson is a great person, warm hearted and down to earth. He treats you like you are part of his family.I’m a native of Ventura. In my free time, I like to spend time with my four children and my granddaughter, playing games, shopping and participating in outside sports. I play co-ed softball year round. I love the Beauty and the Beast. |
| Judy Ramirez Registered Dental Assistant  I’ve been with Custom Smiles Orthodontics since 1999 and I assist the doctors on the clinic floor, assist my co-workers, and make sure our day runs smoothly. What I enjoy most about orthodontics is seeing the awesome changes from beginning to end. Dr. Hudson is not just a great boss, but also a great friend!I’m a native of Ventura County and I like to spend quality time with my daughter, Andrea, and my granddaughter, Alexis. You might not know that I played the clarinet from the 4th through the 10th grade, but no longer play. |
| Nicole LaFourcade Registered Dental Assistant  I am a native of San Diego and have been assisting in orthodontics for many years. I am a granddaughter of an Orthodontist and worked with him for many years. I love orthodontics and the fun atmosphere in the office. I love helping all the patients and seeing how happy a smile can make them. I also love to go camping and fishing with my husband and my one year old son. I really look forward to becoming a part of the Ventura County community and making a life here. |
| Tina Terrones Sterilization Technician  My duties include the sterilization of instruments and taking new patient records. We all work as a team to make our patients’ smile and that’s what I enjoy most about orthodontics. I joined the Custom Smiles team in 2002. Dr. Hudson is not only a great boss, but is very thorough with his patients.I’m a native of Toledo, Ohio. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and like camping and going to the beach. I have five kids, and I clean way too much! |
| Diana Lopez Patient Coordinator  My duties include receiving and greeting new patients. I also take payments, answer telephones, post payments, close the day sheet, and prepare the debond patient files. I have been with Custom Smiles since August 2005. What I like best about working with Dr. Hudson is there is never a dull moment in our office. Every day is a challenge! I love all the people that come into the office.I am a native of Oxnard. In my free time, I like to knit, sew, paint crafts, be a grandma and enjoy the beach. I love music and love to dance! |
Jennie Erazo Patient Relations Coordinator  My duties include helping at the front desk and answering questions. I visit other offices, promote our practice, and help to organize continuing education courses for dental professionals, as well as coordinate office contests & events. I have been a Custom Smiles Orthodontics team member since May 2004. My favorite part of orthodontics is watching the transformation of each smile. I enjoy every aspect of my job and feel fortunate to have the best co-workers! Dr. Hudson is a great boss, a perfectionist, and a very caring individual.I was born in Santa Paula, California. I like listening to music, dancing, baking, cooking and playing sports. I also really enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, and caring for all of our pets. You will be surprised to know that I like boxing, wrestling, KISS (yes, the rock band) and I love rollercoasters! I was the school spelling bee champion in the 5th grade, and I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration. |
Justin Terrones Lab Technician  I was born in West Covina, California. I enjoy taking walks on the beach with my dog, Kingston and chilling with friends and living life. |
| Monica Larios Sterilization Technician  I have been working for Custom Smiles since June 2009. Prior to that, I have been interning here since October of 2008. I am also a patient of Dr. Hudson, I can proudly say that he and his staff exert nothing less than excellence. I am currently working as a Sterilization Technician. My duties include cleaning and preparing the instruments that are going to be used. I also assist on the floor and help out my fellow co-workers. I love coming to work and seeing the transformations that the patients have made. I am a native of Ventura County and currently reside in Camarillo. I enjoy playing volleyball and riding motorcycles. |
Gilberto Ibarra Patient Coordinator I recently joined the team on October of 2009! I am a Patient Coordinator and really enjoying it. I was born and raised in Ventura County. I help out with a few local non-profits and do a lot of volunteer work around the county, as well as spend a lot of time with my nieces’ and nephew’s sports. Big Dodgers fan, Go Blue! |
| Christine Alexamder Patient Coordinator  I have been a Patient Coordinator with Custom Smiles Orthodontics since April, 2009. I enjoy assisting our patients with scheduling appointments, answering questions, and working closely with my outstanding teammates to insure that each and every patient receives the highest level of service and care. I am very fortunate to be a part of Dr. Hudson’s team. I find it so rewarding to make our patients and their family members smile! My husband and I live in Ventura. We enjoy long runs along the boardwalk at the beach and cardio power training in our back yard. We love to cook and entertain in our home for family and friends. My son lives close to us and we see each other often. |
