Ryan Pendleton, DDS
Dr. Pendleton Dr. Ryan Pendleton is a Southern California native. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University in 2000, he attended the UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Pendleton earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, and then traveled to Pennsylvania to earn his certificate in orthodontics from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the California Association of Orthodontists, and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. Since graduation, he has worked in several private practices utilizing various orthodontic techniques and mechanics. Dr. Pendleton also designed and authored a research study that was published in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics in April 2008 discussing the differences between a variety of bonding and retainer materials.

When he is not working, Dr. Pendleton likes to stay busy. He enjoys playing the drums and was once in a rock band that played the Sunset Strip circuit every month. He loves music, and some of his favorite bands include the Beatles, Muse, Rush, Dream Theater and Led Zeppelin. He exercises regularly and enjoys playing any sport, especially tennis, racquetball, football, and golf. He is also an Eagle Scout and enjoys traveling to different areas of the world every chance he gets. On the rare rainy California days, he will play video games to keep his mind tested, where his unbeaten record on any Mario Kart reigns supreme.

Achieving the best orthodontic result for each individual patient requires good communication between the doctor and the patient. Dr. Ryan Pendleton encourages open feedback from his patients as treatment progresses, thus adding additional motivation for them to cooperate. Because there is an artistic and subjective component to orthodontics, Dr. Pendleton always respects and appreciates your opinions and goals for treatment. He will do his best to incorporate your suggestions into the treatment plan in order to create a truly outstanding result.
